A reminder for today
So it
is with Christ's body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each
other. (Romans 12:5)
It is always nice to compare God’s kingdom here on earth
with a toolbox. A toolbox is full of tools and each tool is specifically
designed for a purpose. Tools can be so unique that there is no other tool than
this specific one to do the task at hand. Not all toolboxes have the same
equipment. The owner adds the tools in his toolbox for a specific task that
needs to be done. When he arrives at the site he makes his assessment and uses
the tools required for the job to complete it.
So it is in God’s kingdom. Each one of us is specifically designed
by our Lord the master designer to be perfect for a task that God will bring
into our journey. God gave you talents to become the best tool for the job when
He needs you to complete it. So yes you have purpose and God is directing your
life so that you can fulfil that purpose and bring glory to God. You are
perfect and you are unique. You are wonderfully crafted by a loving God and
given life to show Him to a hostile world.
So today I want you to know that you are perfect and that
you have purpose. Follow His voice and let Him guide you to become the best
tool for the job. You are awesome, my friend.
Lord, guide us and lead us so that we can become the best
tool for the job you have for us. Let us bring glory to you by using our
talents and praising you in all we do. In Jesus name.
