Today Reminder – 17 July 2017

A reminder for today
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:1-3)

How are you, my friend? I hope you had a great weekend and that you are all well rested and ready for today. Maybe we could’ve had one more day to this weekend. I must admit I would love one more day to get a little more rest. We are in the midst of a massive update and the workload is tremendous. I hope you guys are ok and that all is well on your side.

John makes a very important statement here and it is one that we will use a lot especially in the world we live in. Jesus spoke of false prophets and here John also mentions that there will be many false prophets. But most importantly John gives us a measurement. He says that we should know the Spirit. He that confesses that Jesus is the Lord and He came to this world in the flesh and gave His life and then rose from the death, he is for Jesus and a true prophet. He that does not confess Jesus is God in the flesh and gave His life and rose from the death, these are the antichrists. Revelation has a huge message on the coming of the antichrist, but in essence anyone that does not except Jesus Christ as God is also an antichrist. These are the false prophets and Christian oppressors that we see very often today. It is also the atheists that are trying to destroy Christianity.

The important thing that I want you to take with you is that you need to measure all prophets to this. Do not blindly follow anyone, but make sure that their spirit is in alignment with Jesus. Listen carefully to what they say and where their hearts are. Anyone that lives for Jesus and follows His Word and His example is on the right path, but those who does not is on a path to destruction. It is so important that we display the real Jesus in our lives so that we can show the world true Christianity. We are entering a time of turmoil and destruction and if we are not careful, we can be misled by the lies of the enemy. There is much we can discuss on the antichrist that we see in revelation, so maybe we should have a chat on what to expect. I will start tomorrow and we can have a look at the antichrist in more detail over the next few days. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Lord, open our eyes and ears and our hearts to your voice so that we will not be misled by the enemy and the false prophets that is under his power. Let us follow you and you alone, because you are our God and our only God. We live for you. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
