Today Reminder (Evolution) – 26 July 2017

A reminder for today
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26)

I am sorry I am a little late today. I had to pick up my car from the panel beaters and in our morning traffic that was quite an adventure. So, I thought I will add to your knowledge base a little and give you more info that will boost your faith a little.

In today’s world we hear this quite often: Science has proven evolution therefore evolution is true. Since evolution is true and Christians do not believe science, then they are not rational people. Let’s look at this claim. Now firstly evolution in the sense that things change is evident and no rational person disputes that. Therefore, rational Christians believe it, because we can observe change. Now evolution that states that life came from non-life and that life randomly began to generate new genetic information and over time it eventually produced humans is something entirely different plus this is something that does not really hold up against science. I mean evolution from molecules to man is not scientific possible and should not be viewed as scientific fact. This is in contrast to science. When you look at observational science which is the kind of science you can test, repeat and observe with your five senses. Now science demonstrates that over time organisms lose genetic information and not gain it and that same science demonstrates that life does not come from none life.

Fact one: there is no known observable process by which new genetic information can be added to an organism’s genetic code and that refutes evolution. So how can anything evolve from an amoeba to a man without adding any genetic information. The answer, it can’t. Many has speculated and imagined all kinds of things and they brought in artists to make nice drawings based on guesses. So, they make a very convincing story telling people evolved from an ape like creature. Remember that those are just guesses with nice stories. What we really see is that humans are humans and apes are apes.

Fact two: never has it ever been observed that life can come from non life.

So, where do we come from? It is plain and simple. God created each one of us in His image. He made it all and it all belongs to Him. You are in the image of our creator. You are perfect and beautiful in every sense of it. Smile, because in Him we are made perfect.

Lord, thank you for all the evidence that you give us to boost our faith and have no doubt. You are our God and you are all we need. To you we give all the glory, in Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
