Today's thought - 20 February 2026

 

I think you all know this scripture, and it is important that I just share something with you. I know we have questions and as I wrote yesterday, we often do not understand why things happen or do not happen and why God seems distant at times. I think what I would want to emphasize is written here in Psalm 37:34 “Wait on the Lord, and keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land”. 

I wrote to you about the promise land how we go through the wilderness to reach it. Once there we are faced with fortified cities and giants. Paul writes that when he was a child, he saw things as a child, but once he grew up (matured in faith), he saw it differently. As we grow in our faith we also grow in our relationship with God and in drawing nearer to Him, He reveals His plans and our future to us. 

And yes, we see but a faint reflection of what is really happening, and we have a worldly perspective many times where we miss the picture. And our understanding is far from complete but one day it will all make sense and we will see and understand all. The faint picture will become a canvas of understanding and revelation above all else. It is vital that you have a vision and dream big. God is bigger than your imagination so dream big dreams. Have a massive vision for God is the God of the impossible. 

And remember having the dream is not getting the dream, we need to get of our rear happy place and take a step of faith in the direction of our vision. Then we trust God and in due time He will exalt you and you will inherit the land He promised.
