Today Reminder – 19 September 2015 (Day 15 – Dear Lord)

A reminder for today

Dear Lord, how do we stand up again when we have fallen? How do we walk again when our feet are knocked out from under us? How do we pick a broken vessel up and restore the brokenness? How do we open and heal a broken heart? How do we wipe away the endless tears of heartache and sorrow?

How do we replace a negative mind with a positive heart and how do we go on when we can’t see the end anymore? How do we do it, Lord?

"Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going." 

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

"I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid. Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am.”  (John 14)

Today Reminder – 18 September 2015 (Day 14 – Dear Lord)

A reminder for today

Dear Lord, today we ask for a calm and focussed spirit that will make us determined through each and every challenge that this day may have and bring. I pray for wisdom in each challenge so that we will make the correct choices and follow the right path.

I pray for the poor and needy and I ask that you will bring a time of abundance into their lives so that they can discover the vast expanse of your love and mercy. I pray for love, Lord, and I ask that we will love completely and fully and that we will accept and be contempt with our lives and our blessings that we receive each day. I pray that we will use our talents and invest in your kingdom with them. I pray that we will glorify you in all that we do so that we will become more like you Lord.

I pray for all the wonderful people that is reading your blog today and I ask that you will bless them and keep them and hold them through this day. I pray that they will see your wonder and feel your love as this day blooms into a day filled with you. And as they find their way home today I ask that you will go with them and keep them safe. I pray that you will bless their sleep and give them a wonderful rest so that tomorrow will be a day where you will be clearer to them than the star filled skies over Africa.

Today Reminder – 17 September 2015 (Day 13 – Dear Lord)

A reminder for today

Dear Lord, today we ask you for clear minds and give us answers when we find ourselves with difficult challenges. Lead us step by step through this day and open our eyes so that we will see where you are at work. Help us to listen to you voice and follow your call when you need us to be obedient. 

Help us when we are weak and strengthen us when we are tired. Let your Word be a light for our souls and a lamp for our feet. Let your Spirit fill us and leave no space for the enemy to pollute our minds. Let us be your voice where people have grown deaf to your guidance.

I pray for each of your awesome followers that read your blog today and I ask that you lift them up when they are weak and clean them where they are hurt. I pray you will help those forgive that needs to forgive and provide for those that are in need and I pray that you will heal those that are in need of healing.

Today Reminder – 16 September 2015 (Day 12 – Dear Lord)

A reminder for today

Dear Lord, I pray that you hear our prayer today as we call on your name. You gave your Son so that we will be free from sin and free from the accusations that the enemy throws at us each day. You made us free from our own shame and broke the chains that bind us to this world. You give us unfailing love and you saved us. Therefore I know that you answer our prayers and that you will always give us all that we need for each day.

Lord I ask that you give us strength in these last months as the year rushes to its end. I pray that you bring back the fire in us so that we will take each day by storm and disable the enemy at every attack they attempt on us and on those around us. Lord I am because you are, I am nothing without you and I realise each day more and more how I need you. In the middle of our storms help us to keep holding on to you and give us the power to never let go.

I pray for all your followers reading your blog today and I ask that you bless each one and help each one with their troubles and that You renew their strength and lead them through this day. I pray that you will fill them with your love and that you will reassure them that they are forgiven and that they should have no more fears.

Today Reminder – 15 September 2015 (Day 11 – Dear Lord)

A reminder for today

Dear Lord, please walk beside me today and help me to understand and accept. Help me to become the person you want me to be and help me to live a life where you are always visible. Help me see other the way you see them and help me to accept their flaws as you accept mine. Help me to be free from my past and focus on rebuilding my future with you always present, in my heart and in my mind.

Help me seek your ways above the ways of man and help me to accept and follow your guidance all through my life. Help me be a friend for those in need and a stable hand for my children.

I pray for all my friends and family and all your followers that reads your blog today. I pray that your presence will fill their bodies and leave them in awe of your love. I pray that you fill each of them with peace and bless their day and all they do.

I pray that you free our minds from the world around us and align us with you so that this world will have no effect on us and that we will stand unwavering on your Word.
