Today Reminder - 01 May 2012 (Saved)

My prayer for you for today is to pray, pray for all people and to those in authority, in Jesus name.

1Timothy 2:1-4
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Saviour, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.

Saved – God wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. Prayer is one the most important things we must do and Paul writes in many of his letter that we must pray for other. This letter to Timothy he urges us to intercede on behalf of other and ask God to help them. He then specifically makes a note that we should pray for those in authority, our leaders, regardless of what we think of them. I believe this to be more true nowadays, that we must pray for our leaders so that we can live peaceful and quite lives marked by godliness and dignity. It is weird times that we live in and with even weirder weather. The world seems to have turned its back on God and the constant hunger for wealth has corrupted so many and sadly so many in authority. People do not care anymore and they create a little world for themselves so that they do not see the need outside of their save little sphere. People need God now more than ever, and more so does our leaders.

My dear friend lets stand united as we bring other and especially our leaders to God in prayer so that our children will have a future. Ask God to help them so that they will see beyond their greed and mistakes and that they will seek guidance to make the right decisions. I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.

This is good and pleases God our Saviour.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
