My prayer for you for today is that you will know that
nothing can ever be greater than God, in Jesus name.
James
5:10-11
For
examples of patience in suffering, dear brothers and sisters, look at the
prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. We give great honour to those
who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great
endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is
full of tenderness and mercy.
Darkness - for the
Lord is full of tenderness and mercy. Why is there darkness, so that we can
see the stars. Today I want to remind you of something so important that the
knowledge of it will change your life. God is greater than any circumstance,
heartache, problem or anything that you are facing. I believe that it is in our
dark times that we see the light of Jesus so much clearer. Don’t ever think
that you are not worthy. Jesus came to set the captives free, He came to the
lost and the broken. In the midst of all that Job faced in his life, he
remained faithful because he saw God in it all. We could never know what God’s
reasons are, but we do know that He will never leave us.
My dear friend, you cannot save yourself. Only Jesus can!
There is nothing that you can do to buy salvation, Jesus already bought it with
His life. It is in the midst of our pain that we must cry out to God and take
our problems to Him. Don’t tell God how great your problems are, tell your
problems how great your God is.
