A reminder for
today
God has put all things
under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the
benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and
complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.(Ephesians 1:22-23)
Jesus Christ has been raised to global domination for the
sake of the church. The church is called the body of Christ, to signify that
the true and living members thereof are united to, and animated by him; that
they are under his direction, and the objects of his care, and that they are
united to one another in love, after the manner of the members of the human
body, which are governed by the head, and united to one another by various
joints, ligaments, nerves, arteries, veins, and other vessels of communication.
So we form all part of one body that is united in Jesus and
filled by Him everywhere. You are part of this body and for this body to be
successful each member must perform his tasks that is set before him. If you
look at the body you know that the hand cannot function without the arm and the
arm is of no use if it is not for the brain. Together they can do great
things.
We live in a world where the body of Christ has become more
and more impotant every day. Each one needs to remember that they are part of
it and allow the Lord to guide us so that we can all be useful members of His
church,
So today I want you to remember that you are part of a much
bigger picture.
Lord, today I ask that you will reveal your plans to us so
that we can be optimal. In Jesus name.
