A reminder for
today
That is why the
Holy Spirit says, "Today when you hear his voice, don't harden your hearts
as Israel did when they rebelled, when they tested me in the wilderness”. (Hebrews
3:7-8)
Today South Africa takes to the streets marching against
corruption and mall practise by our current president. His latest devious act
was to remove our finance minister and other that was not going to stand for
his corrupt ways. Now our country is up in arms and adamant that he resigns. Therefore,
many are marching against him and many people did not go to work to call for a
state of emergency – Zuma must go.
Although marching and chaos is a way of getting the world to
notice, all remains in God’s hands and He is the only one that can change our
current situation. Our country has gone through two terrible presidencies and I
am afraid we will not survive another. God is very clear in what is needed to
free us from another tyrant seeking only his own needs over that of a nation. Then if my people who are called by my name
will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked
ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their
land.
Restoration is surely needed, but above all, we need to
listen. Especially today when we take to the streets, we must stop hardening
our hearts and listen to God’s voice. We must stop rebelling against the will
of God and seek Him with burning hearts. We must turn away from wickedness and
seek Him and ask for forgiveness for our own selfish hearts. It is time that we
unite and return to God as nation of people who has always remained faithful to
God. We can only win this fight on our knees in prayer and it is time that we
all unite all over the world and pray for all our leaders.
Our country needs prayer so much, but in the same way other
leaders all over the world requires God to help them. President Donald Trump
needs God just as much in a time of turmoil when so many stand against him. Other
leaders are in positions where they too need Godly advice. God is the only way
for our world to be saved and if we do not stand together in prayer, many may
be lost.
Lord, we come together all over this world and we pray for
all our leaders. Lord, we desperately need to return to you and humble
ourselves again before you so that you can restore our world. We need you Lord,
and we ask that you move once again and change our fate. Release us from evil
Lord, and heal our lands. Let us wear your armour and hear your voice as we
seek you in everything. In Jesus name.
