My prayer for you for today is that you will stand firm
and not give up.
Galatians
6:8-10
Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature
will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to
please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let's not
get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest
of blessing if we don't give up. Therefore, whenever we have the
opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of
faith.
To listen to the Spirit is to hear the heart of God.
There are so many times in our lives that we feel lost and that we feel the
challenges of life is becoming too great for us. We feel that what we do has no
effect and why should we continue doing it. Why can’t we just carry on like
everyone else? Paul saw this in his time and wrote about it, funny thing is,
his advice is still so valuable in our daily life today. What he says here is
so important, God works on a canvass far greater that what we can ever comprehend
and our small part in this big masterpiece is so important. Paul wrote that we
will receive the right blessings at the right time. So when you look at this
day and all that lies ahead of you, stand firm with the Holy Spirit as your
guide and you will see the right blessings at the right time. Don’t give up,
you are in my prayers every day and God will never leave you. Let’s take this
day and give it to God.
