My prayer for you for today is that the light of Jesus in
you will clear away the darkness and that you will be free from it to enjoy
every moment of this day.

8:12
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I
am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in
darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life."
The light of Jesus leads to eternal life. When we travel
through this life alone we are often overwhelmed by darkness. The enemy wants
us to lose focus of Jesus and change that focus to the immediate world and
troubles that we have. You see the Devil does not want you to receive eternal life,
he wants you to be controlled by this world. When you are in troubled times and
you are facing major challenges, don’t lose focus. Jesus said it clearly here
that when you follow Him, you will not walk in darkness. You will know that
this is only for a short while, and a much better life lies ahead. Place you
focus on Jesus and follow Him and see the darkness disappear.
Today will be a great day!
