Today Reminder - 05 September 2012 (Battle)

My prayer for you for today is that you will come to know how great God is as He leads you into victory, in Jesus name.

Psalm 144:1
Praise the LORD, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle.

The battle continuous - He trains my hands for war. In the midst of our worries and fears God is our rock and our salvation. He rescues us from our own misfortune and sets our feet on the right path. He guides and protects us as we travel the roads of this life and He holds us firmly in His hand protecting us from all evil.

Call out to the Lord our God and ask Him to train your hands for war and give your fingers skill for battle as we fight the evil of this world with Him as our rock. Stand with me today as we will seek victory in all our battles and glorify God for His victories in our lives. The enemy knows his time is short and he will be relentless in his attacks to bring us down and create distance between us and the Lord.

My dear friend, you are a mighty warrior. The Spirit that dwells in you is a force of unlimited power that makes you a dangerous weapon against the forces of evil in this world. Do not fear for the Spirit in you is a Spirit of courage and strength. Stand up when you are down and rest when you are tired and call out the name of the Lord as the victory is already in your grasp.

(Revelation 15:4) Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy.
All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed."

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
