The path
of righteousness
Trust
in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek
his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

As I stand humbly before you Lord, the path that lies
ahead seems dark and difficult. I feel insecure and afraid as I look for
another way. The road thus far has seemed so hard with so many uphill’s and
dangerous places and my strength seems to fade as I hold on to the last ounce. I
feel weak…
Somehow I regain my balance and my tired body regains
momentum. I am lifted from the pit where I was and placed on the road. I am
renewed and refreshed as a stream of new strength flows through my body and my
weakness is turned into power. I look up to see where this new life comes from.
I look up and I am in awe…
What lies ahead may seem unclear, but what lies within is
not. The path of righteousness may seem hard and difficult, but the road that
lies before me will become bearable, because I do not walk this way alone. I walk
every step with Jesus as He guides and carries me through, because on my own I will
fail.
I am walking again… my journey has just begun.
