Looking ahead
This
is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For
the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)
My dear friend, looking ahead can sometimes be a dreadful
thing. What lies ahead is unknown and what will happen next cannot be
predicted, but how you handle it can make or break it. "So don't worry
about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is
enough for today.” (Matthew 6:34) Let us not dwell in the past or seek a
tomorrow, but instead let us live for now. Now is what matters! What is done is
done and what lies ahead is in God’s hands. To trust God and have faith means
that we do not worry about tomorrow but instead we live today. Do not let the
dark clouds of tomorrow take away you joy of today. Come with me today dear
friend as we place our trust in God completely and lift up His name for the
glory of our victory is His glory and the fear of tomorrow is in His hands.
