Today Reminder - 15 January 2013 (Commission)

A reminder for today
‘Instead, commission Joshua and encourage and strengthen him, for he will lead the people across the Jordan. He will give them all the land you now see before you as their possession.' (Deuteronomy 3:28)

Commission – courage and strength:

The Lord did not allow Moses to enter the Promised Land. Moses could only stand on the mountain and look over the land for the Lord was angry with him. The Lord told Moses to commission Joshua to lead the people into the Promised Land and that he must encourage and strengthen him.

My dear friend, each day we wake up in our own Promised Land. Our lives are a gift and a blessing from God and we must lead our loved ones and those we meet and our colleagues to the same land, a land where God is placed first, a land where we worship Him and Him alone.

Come with me today as we ask the Holy Spirit to give us strength and courage to face our day and to lead people to God. I pray that our lives will become the pillar of light in our communities and at our places of work and in our homes and that this light will be a compass that will lead people to the Promised Land we have in the new heaven and the new earth.

I pray that you will be stronger than ever and more fearless than ever before as we take on the enemy to glorify an awesome God, in Jesus name.

God is with you as He is with me. Fear not what lies ahead, but instead embrace it with confidence, because God is fighting this battle for me and for you.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
