A
reminder for today
We
can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps. (Proverbs 16:9)
Our lives are planned and formed by God. Each one of us
was designed long before our birth. So when we live our lives we have to follow
this design, yet at times we try and alter God’s design and follow our own
mind. It is then when things go wrong. Each step we take is in His hands and as
we follow His plan and His voice we will succeed in every challenge. We can make our own plans, but the LORD
gives the right answer (Verse 1). Those who listen to instruction will prosper;
those who trust the LORD will be joyful (Verse 20). We may throw the dice, but
the LORD determines how they fall (Verse 33). Everything is in His hands
and we may try and follow our own ideas and directions, yet we will soon
realise that it is meaningless if not the will of God. When people's lives please the LORD, even their enemies are at peace
with them (Verse 7). Live to be more and live to be different. Let the
streams of life that is in you change you and those around you. When we live by
the will and guidance of the Lord we will be at peace and fully content. Let this
be your goal each day.
