reminder for today
Never
let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder.
Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favour with both God and
people, and you will earn a good reputation. (Proverbs 3:3-4)
In today’s world loyalty and kindness are two words that
people are quick to forget. We are so caught up in our own problems and
challenges that we look past the need that is around us. A kind word and a warm
smile can change even the coldest of hearts. We are so easily corrupted by what
we see on television and what other do that we disregard loyalty and seek only
our own desires and satisfaction. I guess the two can be related. A kind and
loving heart can easily be more loyal than a cold selfish one. What is
important is the promise that is written about a loyal and kind person. When
these virtues are written deep in your heart you will find favour with God and
people, and you will earn a good reputation. Let us strive to be loyal and kind
disciples to a loving God as we walk out today displaying these characteristics
in our way of life.
