Today Reminder – 21 October 2014 (Day 15 – Faith)

A reminder for today
By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. (Hebrews 11:3)

My dear friend, when we say that God made the universe and all in it, we declare it by faith. We understand that God did this out of our faith and we believe because of this faith. We know that it is not by sight that we follow Him, but it is by faith as we journey towards our destination in eternity.

Now, take that same faith and believe that God is able to change anything and do anything that you ask in prayer. Think about that for a moment, my friend. We forget how powerful prayer truly is and how much we are able to achieve by prayer through faith.

Therefore I lift you up today in my prayers as I ask God to hear our prayers and come to our rescue. I pray that the God who made heaven and earth will bless you and protect you through all that awaits you. I pray that He will take away all that troubles you and change your life. I pray that the obstacles in life will seem like tiny bumps as you journey past them safely in His hands. I pray that He will give you strength and change your circumstances so that you will see His glory in your life and that all who see you will know that He is your God and you are His child. I pray for repair in broken relationships and healing where there is pain. I pray for release where there is burden and blessings where there is hardship. I pray for wisdom and guidance and the strength to follow His way as we walk on fearless and filled with hope. I pray that the enemy will flee when they see you and that you will be a light for many. I pray that your faith will move mountains, yours and those in your life.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
