Rejoice
in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.
(Romans12:12)
How awesome. I love these verses. Be confident in hope I
such an awesome combination of words. Let’s look at these two words. Hope - a
feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen, a feeling
of trust. Confident - feeling or showing confidence in oneself or one's
abilities or qualities, feeling or showing certainty about something.
So to be confident in hope is to have a feeling of
certainty in an expectation or a desire for a particular thing to happen. Wow!
God is awesome. God want us to keep our hope in Him, but not just hoping but to
be confident in that hope which means that you are certain that your hope will be granted.
Jesus told us that in faith we will accomplish anything, but to have confident
hope in our faith means that we will never fear failure. We will always see the
end as victory. This means that nothing you attempt will end in failure. God
will give you success in your faith and hope. That is so awesome.
So today I want you to be confident. Be confident in your
hope and more so be confident in God for we are going to see great things in
the year to come.
I pray that the Lord will see our hope and bless our
faith so that we will receive our expectations and desires as we trust Him
confidently.
