Our Pastor gave a nice example this week. I do not know if you have green fingers in other words you love plants and they live in your home. We are all like plants. For a flower to bloom it needs good soil, water and sunlight. If it is not cared for in your home, it will perish. In the same way we need good soil (foundation), water (God’s Word) and sunlight (Jesus Christ).
God says my grace is enough. This means that there is power in His grace and as we live our lives we need to tap into that. As we stand firm on God’s Word we need grace to do what pleases God. God said that when you are weak, you are strong. When you humble yourself knowing that you cannot do this on your own and that you need (desire) God’s help (grace) you will be strong for He is our salvation.
Our very victory in all our challenges. My dear friend, I don’t think we need to be reminded how much God loves us, buy we need to know that God desires a relationship with you and as we draw closer to Him, He will draw closer to you. My prayer is simply that you will become a well watered garden that will bloom all the time in Jesus name.
