And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” How many times do we read or hear this and we think it is for those guys who work in ministry and go out on missions. You know those weird guys who go to funny places and just preach. I guess it is similar to work and your manager asks you to do work that is not your work but someone else’s and you get upset and complain.
Your manager will either reprimand you or you can say goodbye to an increase. This verse in Psalm 25 is so simple but what does it truly mean to give your life for God. If we need to go into this I would probably still be writing next week. In essence it is to fully surrender your life to Jesus and follow His commands and do what He asks no matter how difficult, uncomfortable or costly. It is in this that we step out of the world and into God’s will. My dear friend, there lies great treasure in obedience to God.
Jesus said love one another with this part - as I loved you. Come with me today as we share, love and accept what God has called us to do. Let’s invade our world, family and friends with love. Let us live the gospel, speak the gospel and walk the gospel every moment. Let the joy of the Lord be visible in all we do and say. Let our words be a blessing and our love be evident to every person regardless their colour, background, culture or beliefs.
Let us be a city on a hill.
Have an awesome day.
