Sometimes we find ourselves in heart-wrenching trouble that overwhelms us. The Lord Himself felt this way John 12. God says give your burdens to Him and He will take care of us. In His presence we will find peace and quiet rest far away from the reach of those who has give us grief. Sometimes in life it is a close friend, a relative or even an apparent godly person who lets us down badly and causes us a great deal of pain.
Jesus is the only way and it is best to lay this before Him in prayer and even if He does not change it or acts upon it in the time we desire, He knows best and He knows exactly how to sustain His servants. His will and time is perfect and His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. As we delight in Him and trust Him, He will make it come to pass. In His rest we will find our peace and in Him will we find victory over the plans of the wicked.
Remember we walk by faith and not by sight. What is invisible to us is visible to God and what is broken can be restored by God. Be patient and be kind, God will never allow the righteous to be cast down. He will always sustain them.
