A
reminder for today
This
is what the LORD says: "Don't let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the
powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who
wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and
understand that I am the LORD who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings
justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I,
the LORD, have spoken! (Jeremiah 9:23-24)
Lord, we humble ourselves as we come to you today. We fall
down to our knees as we enter in your presence. We want to leave the things of
this world behind and focus on the things of heaven. Let us be humble in every
step we take and let us look at this world through your eyes. Let us never
boast about earthly things, but instead let us boast in understanding that you
are our God and that you show unfailing love to all of us. Let the heavens
remind us of your greatness and let the life that runs through our veins remind
us of your miracles. Lord, speak life over us and bless us in all that we do. Let
us not fear whatever lies ahead but let us remain faithful in you no matter the
waves that smashes into our life boats. Lord come down and lift us up and
strengthen our faith. Let us boast in your love and grace and let everyone we
meet see you in us. Let them realise that you are always. Now and forever.
Lord bring justice and righteousness to the earth and let
all evil perish that comes our way as we walk in faith. Let us be the very
light that beaks the darkness and let us glorify you all the way. let us be
victorious through all our challenges and let us become radical fearless
Christian outspoken for you.
Let us be the men and women you want us to be in our
faith in you. Let us move mountains. In Jesus name.
