reminder for today
In
his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ
Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and
strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. (1 Peter 5:10)
Awesome Word for today! My dear friend, in the world of
those that follows Jesus life is no fairy tale. For a little while we will face
trail and tribulations. We will battle daily challenges and we will watch as
our world slowly fades away. For a little while we will struggle and suffer and
then we will live forever. Yes, we stand at the foot of a new year and yes we
are going to walk through tough times, but God says that He will restore, support
and strengthen you and then He will place you on a firm foundation so that you
can face the coming storms. To God be all the glory!!
My friend, I want to remind you that you should look at
life with the knowledge that God will always stand by your side and He will
support you through hard times and strengthen you when you feel weak. He will
restore you when you are broken and lost and He will pick you up when you have
fallen. You are special to Him and so valuable.
Lord I thank you and praise your name for this awesome
promise that we can take with us today. Come Lord and restore us, strengthen us
and support us as we stand on you our foundation in life. In Jesus name.
