A reminder for
today
Christ died for us so
that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him
forever. So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are
already doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:10-11)
How are you today, my friend? I hope you are well and
healthy and full of hope for the year ahead. Today the schools started for
everyone and the traffic was a mess. Sometimes I enjoy the traffic, because it
gives me a little more time with my boys before we get to school. I love to
listen to music with them and just encourage them for the day ahead. Life is
almost like traffic. Sometimes all goes well and sometimes there is a massive
accident (challenge) that just brings everything to a hold. It is in these
congested and hopeless times that we need a little encouragement and it helps
so much just to hear a nice word or have an ear that is willing to listen.
I have no idea where you are in your traffic lane of life,
but I do feel that I need to remind you that we are children of the light and
darkness has no place with us. Even when we feel that the challenges of life is
going to consume us we must remember that the Lord is with us and there is no
way that our problems will get the better of us.
You are so amazing, my friend and God made you so perfect in
all that you are. You are designed by love and grace and given life to do the
impossible and shine so bright that the enemy will flee and the people around
you will stand in amazement and desire to be like you. Your beautiful heart will
change lives as you carry the Word of God with you. Keep planting the seeds of
Jesus and give it water so that the people you meet will seek your faith and
return to our Lord.
God is awesome and there is nothing that is impossible for
Him. Remember He spoke and the world was created. When He speaks life over you,
you will have life like never before. Do not fear the next part of your life, because
you will see miracles that will leave us all speechless.
So today, remember that you are beautiful and very
attractive. You are loved unconditionally and you are my friend that I need so
much. Just as you need me, we are part of a chain of life giving prayers that
will bring light in a dark world.
Lord, today I pray that you will show each one of us how wonderful we are and how you created each one of us perfectly according to your
plan. Let us touch the hearts of everyone we meet and let us bring life where
the enemy is trying to destroy. Be with us as we put on your Armour and keep us focused on you. In Jesus name.
