reminder for today
But
the Lord God warned him, "You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in
the garden—except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its
fruit, you are sure to die." (Genesis 2:16-17)
There are so many pitfalls in this life and allowing evil
into your life robs you of the blessings God so freely gives. We are daily
confronted with things that will lift us up and things that will bring us down.
It is the decision that we make that sends us in either the right or wrong
direction.
Every day God warns us against the wrong things and
through the Holy Spirit He gives direction. It is important that we listen
carefully and make sure we understand God’s advice so that we can make the
right choice sending us in the direction God needs us to go.
My dear friend, listen to God’s warnings and open your heart
so that you will hear His voice and feel His direction as His intention is
always to help and protect us. Seek His guidance and be careful of your choice,
because our own personal desire can easily steer us in the wrong direction and push
us to make the wrong choice.
