Today Reminder - 23 October 2012 (Destiny)

A reminder for today
"Build a large boat from cypress wood and waterproof it with tar, inside and out. Then construct decks and stalls throughout its interior. (Genesis 6:14)

Destiny – God has a plan for you: I guess each one of us finds ourselves in a place where we start to wonder about where we are heading and what we are supposed to do. There is that inner feeling that you belong but you are not quite sure where. Through our lives we make decisions and plan our lives and work our way to where we think we should be.

God made you with a specific goal and He will place you strategically in places throughout your live to achieve that goal. You see, as long as you follow you own direction you will always have that feeling that you belong somewhere else, but the minute you submit to God’s will and follow His direction, you will feel different.

One day Noah was an average man living an average life, and the next day he and his family were the only survivors left on earth with a massive responsibility. God can take your life and really turn it upside down in moments.

With destiny comes patience. Be patient with God, He knows the right time and the right moment. Spend time with God and asking Him where you are needed. Even if you feel that you are not where you must be, God placed you there for a reason. Each day of our lives builds on to the next day, and as we listen and learn we are slowly prepared for the greater things that God will need us to do.

My dear friend, I pray that you will be patient and that God will guide you in your journey towards your destiny, in Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
