Today Reminder - 14 February 2013 (Valentine)

A reminder for today
"The LORD your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love Him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!” (Deuteronomy 30:6)

Jesus, be my valentine:

It is Valentine’s Day! Wow, that means we are half way through February and very fast on our way to March. This year is going way to fast. Let us break the speed of the rush out there and just come back to the Lord. Jesus said that you must love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind. This leaves no space for anything else, which means we must love God completely.

When you are young Valentine’s Day is always so exciting, because you could give an anonymous card or receive one from someone special. Today I would like to remind you that Jesus is giving you His special invite every day and by accepting Him you can change your whole life. The way you think, the way you love and the way you work. His perfect example showed us how we must live and how we must love. To love someone the same way we love ourselves is difficult. By giving your heart to Jesus and allowing Him to teach you to love completely you will not only change your way of life, but those around you. Love is far more powerful than hate and love can change the toughest of hearts.

Moses says here in verse 6 that you may love the Lord with all your heart and soul so that you can live. I believe we only start living when our hearts completely belong to the Lord our God. Then only will you understand life and live it for Jesus, because all that you are will reflect Him and that refection will touch lives and change cities.

My dear friend, let’s love like Jesus and give our hearts completely to the Lord so that we may be free from hate and material matters and live to love and love to live.

I pray that the love of Jesus will saturate your whole being and that His great love will flow from you today in all that you do, in Jesus name.

Have an awesome Valentine’s Day dear friend of Jesus. You are loved more than you know.

Cheers
