Today Reminder - 06 March 2013 (Turn)

A reminder for today
"You are a witness to your own decision," Joshua said. "You have chosen to serve the LORD." "Yes," they replied, "we are witnesses to what we have said." ”All right then," Joshua said, "destroy the idols among you, and turn your hearts to the LORD, the God of Israel." (Joshua 24:22-23)

I have this deep desire today to tell you to turn back to the Lord. I feel that I need to remind you again that you must get rid of the idols in your life and turn your heart fully to the Lord. Do not let the things of this world separate you from the love of God, but replace them with a heart committed to God.

My dear friend, each one of us goes though dark times where we are heavily burdened with life and its issues. Do not let these times make you forget about God, but instead let each obstacle bring you closer to God. The Israelites was once more influenced by the idols of the Promised Land and these so called wonderful things brought separation between them and God. So this made Joshua speak to them and warn them about the consequences of their decision and finally they made a covenant with Joshua to serve God and God alone.

Come with me today as we recommit our lives to God and realign our focus to serve Him and remove any idols from our lives so that we can completely live and love God with nothing between us and Him.

I pray that your heart will belong to God and that your feet will follow Him alone and that nothing of this world can break your commitment to God, in Jesus name.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? (Romans 8)

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
