Today Reminder - 26 April 2013 (New)

A reminder for today
At that time the Spirit of the LORD will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them. You will be changed into a different person. (1 Samuel 10:6)

Reading this verse made me think of the term “Born again Christian”. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour, there is a transformation that takes place. It is not a physical one, but a spiritual transformation from who we were to who we are about to become. When you start to live your life for Jesus you will become a different person and that is a fact. The worldly person you were now became a Holy person, because of the Holy Spirit that lives in you.

My dear friend, with Jesus as our saviour we cannot be normal anymore. It is impossible to have this amazing gift and still be your old self. From within you there will flow rivers of life as you live a life that is filled with the presence of the Lord. This is the heart of the gospel – you will transform into a new person, a born again person. A person, that will follow the Lord and show Him to the world around you.

Come with me today as we embrace transformation within our lives as we proclaim that we have accepted Jesus Christ as our saviour and that we are newly formed in Him. Let us accept this change as we ask God to guide us to become the person He dreamed us too be so that we will be fearless and bold for Him in each and every step of the way.

I greet you Mighty warrior of Jesus Christ.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
