Today Reminder - 19 July 2013 (Trees)

A reminder for today
They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. (Jeremiah 17:8)

We were looking at water the last two days. Elisha threw salt in the water at Jericho to purify it and streams of water appeared when Elisha asked God because the troops of Israel needed water. I spoke to a friend yesterday who had this amazing image of a tree. You see we are like trees with our roots firmly rooted into the earth. When we give our lives to Jesus He is the foundation that we build our lives on and as our roots grow deeper into this foundation our leaves become greener.

The deeper and closer we move to God the more we will shine and the stronger our relationship is with God the stronger our tree will be. God’s abundant grace is like a river that flows past our tree. His love will purify our tree with the water we receive from grace and His streams of strength will let our tree produce fruit every day.

As your leaves become greener you will produce oxygen that will breathe life into other and wherever you go people will long for your fruit. With God’s river of strength and purified water that brings life to our tree we will never be bothered by drought or heat, we will always stay green and healthy.

My dear friend let us firmly root ourselves in the Lord as He purifies our lives with streams of strength so that we can be trees that produce fruit of life each day.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
