Today Reminder – 06 August 2015 (Day 4 – You)

A reminder for today
"Listen to me, all who hope for deliverance — all who seek the LORD! Consider the rock from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were mined.” (Isaiah 51:1)

Happiness is letting go of what you think your life is supposed to look like and celebrating it for everything that it is (Mandy Hale).

My dear friend, consider the rock from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were mined. You are a jewel in the treasure chest if Jesus and someone so special that He gave His life for you. You are awesome in every aspect, from your little toe all the way up to your hair, you are perfect. This is the rock from which you were cut and the quarry from which you were mined. No matter your past, you are made in the image of God and that means that you are perfect in all your essence.

Today I want to remind you that you look great no matter how your hair looks or your clothes feel, because Jesus does not look at the outside, He looks at your heart and a beautiful heart is the most beautiful thing in life and it can make you far more beautiful than the best models.

Let’s look at YOU:

Y: Young at heart and strong in spirit. You are a soldier that fears no storm and stands upon the rock that you were carved from. You are youthful, yearlong and yummy.

O: Obviously beautiful. Your beauty shines from within and compliments your outer beauty. You are beautiful, because you are made perfect in His image. You are observable, original and a Olympian.

U: Unbelievably amazing. You are unique, unbeatable and ultimate.

Yes my friend, you are you and that makes you beautiful.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
