Today Reminder – 20 August 2015 (Day 13 – You)

A reminder for today
So there is no justice among us, and we know nothing about right living. We look for light but find only darkness.
We look for bright skies but walk in gloom. (Isaiah 59:9)

Feeling truly good about yourself means loving the person you are, inside and out. It takes hard work and some major adjustments to learn to accept yourself and to address the unhappiness in your life. If you want to feel good about yourself, it starts with identifying the thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that might block you from feeling good about yourself. After that, you can work on creating a lifestyle that makes you feel valuable, loved, and fulfilled.

They say that true happiness comes from within and with that it means that we can project joy or sadness over ourselves depending on how we feel inside. When we are sad it influences our whole being and our sadness or negative attitude then affects other as we walk in gloom and transfer our sadness over other. Sometimes we respond through our emotions and not with our mind. When we are sad or angry that emotion becomes part of what we say and how we react and in most cases we react on those closest to us.

When we do not feel good about ourselves it becomes part of all of who we are. Our inner pain becomes our outer face.
My dear friend, why do we feel gloomy and sad? Well sometimes things do not go our way and sometimes we are hurt by other and sometimes we allow the negative thoughts of other impact our day. Whatever the reason for your bad day, it is purely the enemy that continuous to search for ways to steal our happiness.

Our joy is not something that can be taken nor defeated, our joy is in Jesus Christ and nothing can take this from us. So when the enemy hurts you by stealing your joy, just remind him of his destiny and remember that in Jesus we are free and nothing can change that.

You are beautiful, my friend. Do not forget that, and do not allow anyone to tell you otherwise. God created you and in His eyes you are perfect, and this makes you truly beautiful.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
