Today Reminder (Crazy) – 4 November 2017

A reminder for today
For at that time there will be a great tribulation (pressure, distress, oppression), such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will [again]. (Matthew 24:21)

So, a 26-year-old atheist walks into a church with an automatic rifle and starts shooting killing 26 people in Texas on Sunday. This is crazy. Christians are under attack all over the world, because the enemy knows that his time is getting shorter and shorter and the gospel is spreading. It is a war zone and it is terrible. Last week another farmer was attacked, but luckily all his farm workers live close to his house on his farm and as soon as they cried for help all the farm workers united and helped them. Finally, with the help of other farmers and the farm workers the attackers were caught.

This is not how a week should start. With death and despair. Our prayers go out to the people of Texas and their loss. We are in tribulation and unfortunately it is just going to get worse unless we unite in prayer all over the world and fight the enemy against the loss of innocent lives.
God promises in Psalm 91 that He will command His angels in regard to you,To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. You see we pray for our farmers and I believe that God opened the hearts of those farm workers to see the truth and help. I believe that when we unite in prayer the Lord our God will come down and protect us against evil.

When is the next person going to walk into a church with a rifle or fire from a hotel room into innocent people or when is the next farm attack or when will the next house in a township be raided by greed and hatred? When will the next innocent blood be spilled, because of the hatred of the devil?
Let us fight this battle on our knees and let’s unite our prayers all over the world and break the attack of the enemy. Let us stand firm on our Lord’s promise and fight without giving up. Jesus came to save us, and He will surely save us from this evil. Keep your heads high and keep praying and keep spreading the gospel. If we can reach the lost before another one does something stupid, it will be a massive victory. Stand with me today as we fall down on our knees and pray…

Lord, we humbly come to you desperately seeking your help. Please come and save your people all over this world as we face the enemy and his path of destruction. Keep us safe as we turn to you our Lord and God. Hear our prayers and our cries, Lord, and help us. Protect our farmers and our people under attack and be with the people of Texas and their loss. Lord, come down and help us. Help your children all over this world as we call your name. Protect my friends in the US, Canada, Ukraine, Ireland, Portugal, France, Russia, Brazil and Germany and all over the rest of the world. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
