Today Reminder (Let the Word) – 14 Augustus 2018

A reminder for today
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (Colossians 3:16)

Ken Ham posted a new dinosaur find that forces evolutionists to revaluate their timelines. Evolutionary scientists have recently announced the “surprising discovery” of a dinosaur similar to Diplodocus (one of the long-necked dinosaurs) in a region of northwest China where these dinosaurs were not believed to have lived, fifteen million years earlier than scientists thought they had evolved. This discovery now “forces a complete re-evaluation of the origins and evolution of these animals.”

What can we say about this. Shame I would add. You see, it’s not just the occasional fossil popping up at the wrong evolutionary time in the wrong place. If you follow science news at all, you will see that nearly every week there’s at least one story claiming that everything we knew about the evolution of such-and-such a creature needs to be rewritten in light of a new find, study, or perspective on a find. And what always happens? Evolution just absorbs these changes. The model is so plastic it just changes with every new find. This isn’t about “science”—it’s about a worldview that can change with whatever new evidence is unearthed and is never questioned.

Because evolutionists start with the wrong starting point, they will consistently be surprised and have to rewrite their story. As the team that looked into these new dinosaur fossils concluded, this new study “emphasizes the gaps in our knowledge of the fossil record and suggests that there are many surprises still to come.” Many more surprises are still to come for evolutionists because they have the wrong starting point—man’s fallible opinions rather than God’s infallible Word.

So, today I want to remind you to just read the Word of God. Let the word of God dwell in you filling you with wisdom so that you can teach other will a joy filled life. Let us show the truth in our lives and let us live as a gift to other. We may face tribulation and we may face difficult times, but our hope is in Jesus Christ and in Him we have eternal life. Good luck devil, because my life and my soul belong to Jesus. Flee from me for you have no place in my life. I am a child of God and an ambassador of hope.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
