Today Reminder (Acknowledge) – 11 October 2018

A reminder for today
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:6)

We can be so busy living and going about our daily lives that we often forget that it is by mercy and grace that we are here. In a sense it is a little arrogance to expect the next day to be there when we should understand that it is all by love. Our God is amazing, and His grace is beyond our understanding. His mercies and love go far beyond our comprehension and His ways are far above our ways. So, that is why we know that there is no other God like our God and He is the only God that can save.

We should acknowledge Him in all our ways and the great thing is that when we do He will direct our paths. He will lead us to where He wants us to be and with Him we will surpass success and be the warriors He needs us to be.

I love the song “Run Devil Run” from Crowder and I tell you when we acknowledge God in all our ways and things we do, the devil will run, because then there will be no place for his lies and deceit.
So, my message is short but ever so important. For today make a point of acknowledging God in all your ways and be grateful for the time you have and the life you have. Jesus had nothing when He was here, and He gave us the example by showing us that nothing we have can be taken with us. So, when you acknowledge God today keep in mind that your salvation is the most important thing you need to be thankful for. The rest is all material.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
