A reminder for
today
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy
paths. (Proverbs 3:6)
We can be so busy living and going about our daily lives that
we often forget that it is by mercy and grace that we are here. In a sense it
is a little arrogance to expect the next day to be there when we should understand
that it is all by love. Our God is amazing, and His grace is beyond our understanding.
His mercies and love go far beyond our comprehension and His ways are far above
our ways. So, that is why we know that there is no other God like our God and
He is the only God that can save.
We should acknowledge Him in all our ways and the great thing
is that when we do He will direct our paths. He will lead us to where He wants
us to be and with Him we will surpass success and be the warriors He needs us
to be.
I love the song “Run Devil Run” from Crowder and I tell you
when we acknowledge God in all our ways and things we do, the devil will run, because
then there will be no place for his lies and deceit.
So, my message is short but ever so important. For today
make a point of acknowledging God in all your ways and be grateful for the time
you have and the life you have. Jesus had nothing when He was here, and He gave
us the example by showing us that nothing we have can be taken with us. So, when
you acknowledge God today keep in mind that your salvation is the most important
thing you need to be thankful for. The rest is all material.
