Today Reminder - 09 August 2013 (I am different)

A reminder for today
Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before or after his time. (2 Kings 18:5)

Hezekiah son of Ahaz began to rule over Judah in the third year of King Hoshea's reign in Israel. He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-nine years. His mother was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah. He did what was pleasing in the LORD's sight, just as his ancestor David had done.

My dear friend, I feel today that I need to remind you that there is no one like you. Among all the people of the earth, God made only one like you. Even if you are a twin brother or sister, you are still unique in your design. God also confirms that if we trust Him, we are different and we will be different. I enjoy sitting in a restaurant and watching the people walk by. Each one in their own world and so many of them seem the same. They all live a life with the same goals. But someone that completely trusts the Lord is different, they look different, they talk different and they live different.

The normal average person is trapped in a life that rushes them from morning to evening struggling to make everything work out as they planned. A person who trusts the Lord does not need that rush nor do they carry those concerns, they know that the Lord is in control and He will look after them.

And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? (Matthew 6:30)

Come with me today and let us be different like Hezekiah. Let us trust the Lord and live a life that will be different to the normal and let us stand out as children of God in every moment of life. I pray that we will place all our fears in the hands of the Lord and that we will journey today trusting Him completely in faith as we seek His presence in our lives and His help in all that we do today. In Jesus name.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
