A
reminder for today
Don't
put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. (Psalm
146:3)
How often do we seek help at the wrong door? I have done
it so many times in my life and all I can say is that you never succeed and if
you do you will never get the same result as when you knocked at the right
door.
When we are deep into our waves of challenges we can so
quickly seek help from someone. We turn our backs on God and His plan and
replace it with our own quick fixes. I love these words in Matthew 7:
"Keep
on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will
find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who
asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door
will be opened.”
My dear friend we are way too impatient and part of our
process of getting closer to God and receiving His victory is waiting for God
to act at the right time. When you struggle to get out of the waves to get some
air and you just can’t, do not give up. God’s time is not our time and when you
desperately seek to change your circumstances, and God tells you to wait - do
it. Our perspective on where we should be and the amount of victories that
awaits us is a mere glimmer compared to what God has in mind for you.
Come with me today and let us knock on the right door and
seek help in right place. When God brings your waves of victories, you will be pleasantly
pleased that you listened and followed His direction.
