reminder for today
Put
on your sword, O mighty warrior! You are so glorious, so majestic! In your
majesty, ride out to victory, defending truth, humility, and justice. Go forth
to perform awe-inspiring deeds! (Psalm 45:3-4)
Life – Living Intensely For Eternity! These verses
reminded me of Gideon where the angel said to him “Rise mighty warrior”. Let us
look at you in your life today. Do you know how awesome you are?
Here are a couple of things that makes your body amazing:
The average red blood cell lives for 120 days
There are 2.5 trillion (give or take) of red blood cells
in your body at any moment. To maintain this number, about two and a half
million new ones need to be produced every second by your bone marrow. That’s
like a new population of the city of Toronto every second.
Considering all the tissues and cells in your body, 25
million new cells are being produced each second. That's a little less than the
population of Canada - every second!
Nerve Impulses travel at over 400 km/hr (25 mi/hr).
Our blood is on a 60,000-mile journey per day.
Our nose is our personal air-conditioning system: it
warms cold air, cools hot air and filters impurities.
A fetus acquires fingerprints at the age of three months
Every month you grow a brand new outer layer of
skin..."a new you!".
Humans have more facial muscles than any other animal on
earth - 22 on each side of the face.
Firstly you have an amazing body with unbelievable
features. Then God made you in His image which means you are beautifully and
perfectly designed. Then God gave you amazing gifts that we call talents so
that you can do things uniquely to you. In some you have the ability to do
something most others can’t. From the very top of your head down to your feet
you are absolutely fantastic. This comes as no surprise, because God made you
and in that you are glorious and majestic. Now let us take all this awesomeness
that is you and let it live for the very one who made you. Let us live our
lives for Jesus and glorify Him with our amazing bodies. God was with Gideon
and God let him do some amazing things. You are amazing and God wants you to do
awe-inspiring deeds. You are one
awesome warrior, because in you are one awesome God. There is no limits with
God so do not live a limited life. Stand up out of the mud and mire and rise to
the glory that is you. You are one awesome person and I am privileged to have
you as my friend.
Come and let us live life to the fullest, limitless and
without fear.
Jesus
looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But
with God everything is possible." (Matthew 19:26)
