Today Reminder – 18 April 2014 (Day 14 – My Life)

A reminder for today
He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD. (Psalm 40:3)

My redeemer lives!! Oh my friend, what a wonderful time of the year. We can stand and celebrate a living God. I love this Psalm and this specific verse. As we unite to celebrate our redeemer we have the opportunity to show many what He has done so that they too can be amazed by the wonder of Jesus Christ.

It is our sole purpose to see many other put their trust in the Lord. As we stand before this weekend I have this huge feeling of gratitude towards the Lord. Not only did He give His life for me, but He continuously amazes me with the amazing blessings He puts in my life and on my journey.

I am a living example of His grace and mercy. I have seen so many wonderful miracles by His hand and still each day He surprises me. God loves you so much and you are a miracle, just like millions of people on this earth. To me there is no easter bunny and surely no santa claus. There is only Jesus Christ.

Let us stop trying to change this wonderful time by telling our children about a bunny bringing chocolate eggs when we can tell them about a living God who changed our way of life forever.

Rise my friend and let us sing His praises. Rise and let is celebrate our gift in Jesus Christ. Rise and let us show Him to the masses. Rise mighty warrior and let us break the silence and shout out that Jesus Christ lives and will always be.

Oh, the joys of those who trust the LORD, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols. (Verse 4)

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
