A
reminder for today
Tell
everyone about God's power. His majesty shines down on Israel; his strength is
mighty in the heavens. (Psalm 68:34)
"I
have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and
make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands
I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of
the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
There is a lot on these verses, but today as part of my
life I want to stop at therefore, go and
make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
the Son and the Holy Spirit. Making disciples is what Jesus asked us to do
just before He returned to heaven. I have written to you before that I believe
this to be a key element in life and living a life for Jesus.
We live mainly to bring glory to His name and then to
tell everyone about Him. The essence of life is the living water that we find
in Jesus. This essence is something that we need to share with a thirsty world.
The world hungers for material living purely because we lack the will to share
the gospel and give those who thirst for more, the water that will leave them hydrated
in life forever.
Do not fear, because Jesus will give you the right words
at the right time, just be willing and open your heart for His guidance.
And be prepared for huge changes.
