Today Reminder – 08 May 2014 (Day 6 – Everywhere)

A reminder for today
Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. (Psalm 100)

So yesterday was Election Day here in South Africa marking 20 years of democracy. So many good and bad things have happened in these 20 years with many racial tensions and racial conflicts between the different cultures that is living here in our beautiful country.

As I stood there in the row looking at all the different people waiting to make their mark in the hope of a better South Africa I could not help but to think of the Lord and how important it is that we know Him in this process and know that He is actively involved in the coming changes.

So many of us have prayed for positive change in a united and democratic South Africa and this brings me to our theme. Today the Lord is in my vote. He is in my choices and in my directions. He is my guide and He is my Shepherd. He has made us and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.

Let us enter today with thanksgiving and go to our workplaces with praise giving thanks to Him as we praise His name. The Lord is good and His unfailing love continues forever.

We are in His hands as we start a new and exciting time in our country and in the world for that matter. It is so important today that everybody should know Jesus Christ and what He did for us.

Come and let is worship the Lord with gladness, singing with joy.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
