Today Reminder – 24 November 2016

A reminder for today
For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God's people. (Colossians 1:4)

Wow! Imagine that. Imagine someone describes you and they start with “We have heard of you faith in Jesus and you love for all God’s people”. I think that this is probably the most awesome thing to hear and to be that person that lives in such a faith that other describes you by it. This is my desire. I want other to see my faith and feel my faith. It is the one thing that sets us apart from the average crowd and that is our faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus said that with faith you can move mountains. He also said that we will be able to do the same things He did with the power of the Holy Spirit that lives in us. When I think about faith I always think about Peter as he called out to the Lord when they were in the boat. He wanted to walk on the water towards the Lord. He started of doing so well, but as he started to look at the storm around him and He lost focus on the Lord, he started to sink. Jesus asked Him why his faith was so weak.
It is the same with us. We start of good but the storms of life and the challenges we face breaks our focus on the Lord and we lose faith.

So today I want you to realign you focus with the Lord and renew your faith so that we will walk on water through our storms and move the mountains that is in our way. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. "Save me, Lord!" he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. "You have so little faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt me?" (Matthew 14) Do not doubt in the Lord and stand firm in your faith.

Lord, renew our faith and build our faith so that we will move mountains. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
