Today Reminder – 29 November 2016

A reminder for today
Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. (Colossians 1:22)

Pack, pack, pack what a challenge to take all our belongings and box them for the move ahead. In the movies they always make it look so easy, until you are faced with it yourself. In the movies it is always mere minutes to move whereas it is taking me days to box our belongings and just as you think the end is near, it is not. Luckily my two little boys are helping so much while watching television. I pack in and they pack out.

Sometimes life can feel like a move. You fill yourself with all the good things of the Word and the enemy just comes by and unpacks it all by temptation. This makes us think that we might be wasting God’s time and we often feel like a failure. This wonderful time of the year can cause many Christians to stumble and fall, because of all the office parties and desires that the world advertises. So we start with such good intentions and soon we fall.

The fact is that you have been reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. You have been bought and you are no longer a slave to desires and false ideas of a fallen enemy. You are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without fault.

So today I challenge you to forget the mistakes and celebrate the life of a free person in the house of the Lord. You are His child and He loves you more than anything. You are perfect just as you are and your box may feel empty today, but believe me the Lord will reign down in your life and fill your cup to the brim.

Lord, we ask that you reconcile us again and fill us with your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
