Today Reminder – 1 March 2017

A reminder for today
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)

It is the first day of March, a new month a new day and it is a beautiful day here in Pretoria. How are you, my friend? David wrote here in my most favourite scripture that even when we walk into darkness and we do not see how we will find our way out, we do not need to be afraid. We have nothing to worry about and we have no reason to doubt, because our God is close beside us. He is not behind us. He is close beside us. He will protect and comfort us and we will walk out of this darkness victorious. My friend, we worship a BIG God and I cannot hammer this fact more. God is greater than any challenge, any problem and He is greater than any foe. He is the creator of heaven and earth and He is the King of Kings. He spoke and the universe was formed. This is the God that we worship. This is the God that is close beside us. Therefore, we will stand and we will not give up. We will fight and we will never stop, because in Him we have unlimited and unbreakable power and strength. Now, take up your armour and look at that storm that is coming and say that our God can calm any storm so do your worst. We will not be afraid.

This month I am watching my favourite move “Passion of the Christ”. I love Jim Caviezel and Mel Gibson made one of the most awesome movies showing Jesus in His last days. I love it and I love to watch it, because it just drives my passion for Jesus and His gospel. So enjoy and let us carry this message with us wherever we go. While watching this you will love my book this month. The life and story of Des and Ross Sinclair. The amazing way God worked through them and what they did is just indescribable, but then again we worship a BIG God.

Walk with me today as we leave all fear behind and just enjoy God beside us, for we love Him with all our hearts.

Lord, I pray for all your people all over the world and I ask that you let them feel how you are close beside them so that they will face their challenges fearlessly and strong. Be with us as we wear your armour and fight the enemy out of our lands. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
